My Visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park

We have been given a new brief to hope people to create a relationship with the YSP. So to start this i went on a trip with a group of designers to uncover the wonders which the YSP holds. Here is what i found.

And so the mission began as we walked into the unknown land of adventure

The first sculptures i found were these three maze style boulders. I just wanted to feel all of the textural grooves so i did but I'm not sure if you are ment to do this. (Breaking the rules is fun).

Then we ventured into one of the indoor gallery's where we were ment but this organ shaped object. It was designed but the artist Peter Randal-Page one of Britain's foremost artists. He displays monumental thirteen-tonne sculptures carved from Kilkenny limestone, stunning spherical stones and carved boulders.

What do you see here??? I'm not going to tell you what i see here can you guess?? :D

These works were based on walnuts and look almost tribal which appeals to me visually.

THIS RABBIT IS MASSIVE. Its a beautiful sculpture which have alot of recycled objects moulded into its structure.

totem pole awesome, i no its a bit worn but i love the patterns and shapes which have been carved into it. Fabricating a fantastic once colourful sculpture.

There were many more sculptures and the park is well worth a visit as it would be a great place for the family or a day out with over 500 aches to waltz over. We took the challenge of YSP now its time for you to.
